The smart contracts used with Fairmint’s services are some of the most audited and secure contracts in the industry. In the unlikely event that the contract or corresponding tokens are negatively impacted, organizations can choose to deploy a new contract with new tokens that correspond to the rights and holdings of stakeholders that existed prior to any issues, similar to a fork.

Organizations should be careful to follow all applicable laws and rules governing the organization, especially the rules dictated by the organization’s legal documents like their Rolling SAFE, articles of incorporation/organization, and operating agreement. These documents should contain provisions for how to best make changes to the organization. As always, use a qualified attorney to help assist with these matters.
